May I ask about the Cumbria coast services I have the option on Wednesday of heading from Glasgow to West Yorkshire via. Sellafield. Will these be loco hauled? Was thinking of 2C52 Carlisle to Barrow, 12 December, 1208, Y51680 Thanks Ben

Silly me! Must have been a glitch -- couldn't find it. Odd that the current NR timetable omits it.

Just on the Stockport-Stalybridge service....I understood this to be moving to Saturdays but can see no reference to it on Realtime Trains. I checked with the Network Rail timetable Table 78A and can see that it offers "No Saturday or Sunday Service" and no service beyond Denton during the week...
