I have confidence that gbrf will use the talent pool when they are ready, good things come to those who wait lol

Update, gbrf are waiting to see how much new business they have won for the hs2 project and depending on how much they win will determine how many drivers are trained in both bhm and London.word is they should be told in August so fingers crossed people

All to do with new business so the wait continues, she will let us know if any developments

Update for those in the talent pool, Spoke to HR today and there is no start date for us as yet, she will keep us informed when she can

Staff obviously receive free travel or discounted but we are told we should give our seats if there are no others available, I wouldn't move if other seats are available.

Certainly if you have I.d tag on or any uniform but if you in civys I guess most would stay quiet and enjoy the seat, I would get up regardless until I'm to old and need it myself lol

Plus I work on the rail so naturally passengers come first

I just couldn't sit while a woman stands holding a rail I was raised to show respect I guess

It's the gentlemen thing to do if she is having to stand

The whole giving up a seat thing is for people that need it more than you do I.e Pregnant Old Disabled Unwell Female Young children However I do believe when someone has paid for a ticket they are entitled to choose if they want to give that seat up or not, in some cases you would obviously...
