Move pencilled in this coming week for Tuesday from Wembley and Wednesday into Long Marston. AND Cock o the North is on the Blue Pullman tomorrow from Kings X to Berwick.

That's because it wasn't supposed to be First Class. Connex (as was) wanted to create a high class train throughout to remove the need for FC - Chiltern did the same. Commuters who had paid for FC season tickets objected so a few headrests were put on the seats making it First Class.

Not any longer. It used to take place over short distances (such as from Crewe LNWR to Crewe station) but with the introduction of TPWS it has been eliminated.

Well the 0530 BNS-Cardiff goes via Worcester and that's the first train! Don't think even Cotswold drivers get up that early though...!

Just had a phone call from The Chief... 87s move from WB Monday. Mon: 1230 x WB via the GWML to WORCESTER YARD (stabling overnight). Tue: ???? Worcester Yard-Long Marston. Shame they couldn't go back over their old stomping ground but hey. Cameras at the ready..!

An update. Move probably happening Monday. GWML routing I'm afraid for all you WM lads. Watch out for a headboard too.

To bring this right up to date... 87007 008 006 and 026 are due to move to rejoin the rest of their classmates at Long Marston sometime in the next week or so (unfortunately not in time for the open day). Cotswold are to provide the motive power. There is also to be some more Class 1...

TPX 158s have definately worked to Windermere. Not sure about Barrow though...
