    Not necessarily a refurb, but I’ve noticed a 455 has new carriage maps — they look like the same ones from the 701. (Which is just as well. The maps in the 455 date back as far as 2004!)

    A few units might have had a pantograph for dual voltage testing, but the rest don’t (presumably some ballast exists to make up the weight?).

    I’ve just passed through Wraysbury station (Staines-Windsor line), and a pair of Cubic’s readers are being installed at the platform 2 exit. No info on when they’ll go live though. (I asked)
