If a signaller puts a signal back on you which causes you to SPAD you would contact the signaller straight away. However if the signaller put a signal back and the driver hadn't of reached the signal yet but then had the correct sequence leading to a red. You'd get a contact signaller message...
When WMT took the franchise it was in the franchise that they were to look at the possibility of running Cardiff, Manchester Airport, Bewdley and Round Oak services. All of which disappeared rather quickly but because it was in the original agreement it's probably why it's in here.
I hear that people are worried about FOCs and OAO on here all the time. I'd like to point out a couple of point's and this is by no means a dig at the original OP just a general rant.
People who claim they have always wanted to be a driver but then state they are worried about job security...
It's also important to remember that when we talk about enhanced scores there is no set score. Each TOC/ FOC that requires enhanced passed set their own enhanced score. So if the OP has failed enhanced for 1 TOC they may still be enhanced for another.
My personal view is that the process is...
I just don't understand this 2 strikes and you are out rule. At the TOC and FOC I've worked at no such rule is in place. Don't get me wrong, if you get something majorly wrong it had been known where the company may turn around and question of driving is for you. I've known driver's fail the...

You must be able to demonstrate good control. I also use a CGM but have to use the old finger prick whilst at work as I can't have my phone on whilst driving. The doctor will also look for good hypo awareness.
Whilst I completely agree that this forum has many wonderful uses, surely as a medical practitioner you should be pushing people to seek proper medical advice? Rather than that from someone who thinks they have some sort of idea as to what they are talking about!
Again, I'll reinforce my...
Again I strongly disagree with what you are saying. You say that it can put one's mind at rest by seeking medical advice off this forum but I don't think that is the case.
I asked the same question when I first was diagnosed with type 1 many years ago and I was inundated with people saying I...
Absolutely not the case! I know a good number of drivers at my TOC are type 2 and I'm a type 1 driver.
My advice to the OP is not to ask medical questions on here. You'll be told you can't do it and it'll hammer your confidence going forward. The best advice I can give you is apply, get through...
I asked the question when I got the call. We will have Driver contracts but will have to train as ground staff first. That training should finish in February with the driver course starting in February.
