They're the same loco. 47614 is the number it carries at present, but when it was fitted with long range fuel tanks, it became 47853.

I think you will find that they are used overnight and at the weekend, in fact they've added 2 further sidings, on the down side.

Don't know if this is any help, but I went out to photograph it, and the only gen I had, was 1Z38 / 08:20 Waterloo - Carlisle.

I have contacted Network Rail and await their response. That certainly was a good spot.

Last year there was a thread on engineering works at Guildford. Mention was made of the bridge overlooking the station and the fact the sign on the bridge contained errors. I emailed Network Rail, who said that they would replace the sign, which they now have done.
