Just to let you know... It works rather well.
Under SteamOS I can have 30fps with pretty high settings. Of course it remains TrainSim so when you reach Clapham Junction with 10 AI trains added the framerate drops to 20 ish, but it is still playable.
I encountered several issues that I was able...
I have been denied access to the platform whilst on duty. After explaining that if he wouldn't step aside he could explain to 300 passengers why the train wasn't moving he called his supervisor... and guess what... Police came to the scene.
By that time I had enough of it, and went home...
A company that for 8 years doesn't deliver what has been agreed and is protected from any competition should be privatised as it clearly demonstrates that it doesn't give a damn about passengers and agreements.
Nope. It is targeting markets that would otherwise NOT travel by train because of the fares. Thosw who are happy to pay the rail fare would never in their right mind board a bus for a 8 to 12 hour journey.
You can get the Amsterdam Visitor card with Schiphol to Amsterdam and back rail ticket included and valid to and from ALL rail stations in Amsterdam on your in and outbound journey. Card can ONLY be purchased at Schiphol airport.
Avoid taxi's like the plague. Often they use navigation software...
There is no such requirement. The Eurotunnel track access statement clearly states that 10 percent of the passengers carried by an operator will have to be checked. Eurostar has decided that it will perform a 100 percent check to avoid possible legal troubles by passengers who deem to be...
While everyone is shouting for the re-opening of a long closed route, please do remember that the business case to keep the current Dawlish line open will be impacted. It might even come that far that the Seawall route could be closed by this. Is that what we want?
A better solution is to ask...
NSHispeed as an operator does no longer exist. It has been taken over by NSR. But all loco hauled services will cease and be replaced by EMU's. Services using the HSL will be the only loco hauled trains left (apart from the train to Berlin)
They requested paths for both Netherlands and Belguim but were denied any slot as they don't have any coaching stock at the moment.
It is very silent, but I recently spoke to a reliable source who told me they are working on that part and are now in the process of rolling stock procurement.
The plan is to integrate the services within the Mainline concession.
As from December 15 all NSHispeed coaches for the Amsterdam-Brussels service will be refurbished (again). In the meantime all loco hauled trains by NSR will be replaced by EMU's and also send for the refurbishment. From...
Hi guys,
Got the Class 91 and it looks pretty decent for an AI train.
But I downloaded the IC225 set as well: IC225 train set for Railworks However it won't show up.
On the left I see a list displaying the coaches and loco's, including the Mk4's from this set.
But I can't place them...
In recent events about the Fyra service and the second most important city of the united nations loosing it's direct connection to Brussels, the local council of The Hague has set up a TOC to make sure the city remains well connected to Brussels and the rest of Europe. The Hague Trains Holding...
Well if the colour is an issue then I thank the good lads at Great Western for tackling the GCR's problems.
TBH I think an HST+5 would fit the bill for the combined GCR.

If Eurostar comes to Holland it will be the Velaro sets. Hopefully we will get some 200 kph stock that can operate.
It really makes me angry that we spend 7.000.000.000 for 6 trains per day
