Indeed they did, but it called additionally at Wembley Central and Queens Park. I think this was back in the Northampton Line days.

LM will be introducing 'shuttles' in their new timetable from May 17th. These trains will start at WJ, and call at Bushey, H&W and Euston. They were publicising this today with leaflets on train seats.

There was a 378 in the shed at Willesden TMD this morning, but I couldn't see the number as the door was in the way. The TMD has also been fenced off from the WCML and I think from the DC lines on the other side as well.

The route between Harrow and Euston is heavily graffitied. It usually gets painted over every few weeks, but the graffiti normally returns a day or two later. I can quite clearly see very easy access points for vandals to get onto the WCML on my trips to and from Euston. There is literally...

Its such a shame these trains will serve passengers who live along the old north london line. Their windows will be etched in no time. The stations they will serve are also no go areas when it gets dark. It was assumed that LO stations will always be staffed, but I can tell you that at Harrow...

I think one or two 321s were fitted with air con back in the Silverlink days (maybe even Northampton Line days). The units had lower ceilings where the vents were fitted.

So how many 378s have been delivered thus far to LO? I've only ever seen a maximum of two in the Willesden TMD shed.

Despite the doors being open, I didn't see any 378s in the TMD at Willesden this evening.

So, who wins? Electrostar or Desiro?

My vote would go to Euston as well, although I am biassed as I use it everyday!

Or just get the whole thing done by DMUs and do away with voltage switch overs

Is the Eurostar switch done instantaneously, or is there a short neutral section between the two voltages?

You could be right there. I don't remember the Eurostar having to stop being entering the tunnel from the UK side before the days of HS1.

I was on a 'Southern' LM 350 yesterday from H&W to Shepherd's Bush. I times the voltage switch over at 25 seconds. It seems to be a lot quicker than the Electrostars. Is this the case?

It has been interesting to see how the depot at Willesden has been transformed over the past few months. Seems like good work being done there for the new Overground trains.

Anybody have an iea as to when the 378s will start running on London Overground? I've seen two units in the shed at Willesden.
