Didn't like them as much as the Leylands as thought they were under powered for the work they were doing. Originally the X10 via the A1M gave us an hour to travel but they extended this by 5 minutes when they switched to the A19 as they had included extra stops and if memory serves me right it...
I remember when we first got these https://www.flickr.com/photos/nedbasher/6947559405 would do 70mph uphill on the A1(M) until they changed the route to the A19. Regular occurrence was them running out of fuel on Stockton High Street on the last trip of the day. X10 was extended to Redcar on a...
Update
I have reached an amicable resolution to this with LNER and wish to thank all that have helped and given advice, it is very much appreciated. Please note the resolution is not subject to a Non Disclosure Agreement just that I accept each case is different and has to be treated on its own...
I have some experience of this both in this country and abroad - mainly Spain. The worst I have come across was dispatching my wife to Manchester where she was forgotten about at Piccadilly and finally found at the Airport, even though they knew this had happened there was still no one to help...
Thank you, steps are being taken in contacting LNER.
Yes I emailed Northern a few days ago - it is thanks to this forum I am much better informed.
I hold a DPRC because of the entitlement it offers. I prefer to act as independently as I can rather than fall back on my mobility problems as an...
One thing of note is that if the Mag Court hearing the case is some distance away you can arrange to have the Stat Dec done at a Court local to you and they will forward everything on. If doing this it is still your responsibility to ensure the "hearing" Court has received it. You may not have...
The following was received early this morning. Sounds very much like a "pass the buck" message as I have proof they received them nearly 3 weeks ago which they confirmed in a phone conversation last week.

Update so far
I have submitted a Delay Repay request to Northern via email as there website will not accept the dates I input - will see what happens
From Post 19 - thanks to Yorkie
Good news: to his credit David Horne has offered to look into the matter...
For the Delay Repay in the use you describe then I would have been late by some 70 minutes in total but may be too late to claim it now as LNER have dragged their heels in making responses.
Thank you all for your comments, they are much appreciated.
Going the Small Claims route is something I am very comfortable with and does not phase me in the slightest - the costs aren't that bad and providing you win can get them back + Litigant in person costs @ £19 per hour for research...
"Dear London North Eastern Customer
Thank you for contacting LNER Customer Services on 15/10/2019
Upon investigation into your provided tickets, I can see that you did not travel with us on the affected leg of your journey, so unfortunately are not entitled to any compensation of your new...
Earlier this month I had to travel to a family funeral and thought it easier to go by train so bought from Loco2 which entailed 1 change of train in Newcastle. I also bought myself a Disabled Persons Railcard in order to help reduce the monies shelled out, it is quite some time since I last...
