As some routes are running 100% service today, I assume some bus companies are unaffected by the strike? If so, which companies are they, and why are they not affected? Are they the ones that are already well paid, or are different unions involved?

Since the faster service only arrives 12 minutes ahead of the slow service, and it takes 5 minutes to split them, I assume this arrangement is to accommodate short platforms?

Avantix machines are no longer available for new supply and the existing machines will no longer be supported after April 2016. I would imagine that TOCs have already begun the procurement exercise to replace them.
