As the countdown to the new Halton Curve service begins I am just wondering what services ran on the Halton Curve in the past, what were the timings and the calling patterns I have read their was a regular service on the Halton Curve until the May 1975 timetable change how frequent was this...
Interesting does anyone know what stock will be used on the commencement of passenger services on 20th May will it be 175s, 150s or even 158s (although not sure if they have appeared on any of the training runs) but I have heard they have been cleared for the route and will these services...
Like the look of those 230s do you think they could be of use on the new Halton Curve service Liverpool-Chester via Runcorn or do you think the 60mph top speed would not make that workable between Liverpool and Runcorn or even Frodsham and Chester? - would that conflict with Virgin and WMT...

Does anyone know what the likely rolling stock will be for this service when it starts I thought it was expected to be 150s but I have seen 175s on the training runs recently?
