Does anyone know the reason why most Manchester-Windermere trains miss out Lancaster ?
It means you can't get from Barrow or Leeds to Windermere without changing twice.

I have just seen a train containing two multiple unit sets interspersed with loaded container flats passing through Manchester Piccadilly southeastbound.
The MUs were in grey livery and had end corridor connections, but I was not able to identify the type. Presumably there was a loco at the...

It's bang up to date, the Nottingham changes are there, and Manchester - Newton electrification is shown as complete (which i presume it soon will be)
