I wish I shared your optimism....why do you say on a course in no time?

Our contact told me it was from date of application, but I really don't think that's accurate. It would make better sense from date of assessment day passes etc, as some people may have an older assessment day pass from another application round or different TOC, and obviously a more current DMI...

I pretty much know having been through them before and the questions being very similar. Couldn't have prepared any better

My interviews were smashed out of the park....can't say re assessday, but I feel it went pretty well. I think other factors are at play here....other opinions are available

Congratulations. I'm a little confused as to how you have only just passed and yet they've offered you a course early next year? How come you seem to have bypassed the talent pool? Although good news for you my hearing this is infuriating in light I had my MMI result in May and still no course...

I've given up contacting, if I get an offer of a medical next year I'll be happy, but until then I'm not chasing anymore and getting on with life. If it happens it happens

If you fail either the DMI or MMI with GTR you'd have to wait 6 months to re-apply with GTR. But as Stigy said you can go to any other TOC/FOC and apply immediately. But you'd still have to apply, get through sift and online tests with the other TOC/FOC before they look at your assessment scores...

Is he getting monthly updates? May be worth while him contacting HR to make sure still active. Could be the depot going for not having vacancies. It is I imagine quite stressful having passed everything years ago to just be sat waiting for something that may come to nothing in the end

Wish I knew as seems a closely guarded secret. Seems a fluid process in my opinion where people pass all the time and enter the "pool" meaning probably move up and down. My opinion, not based on fact, is it is a complex process where they have to look at everything from date of assessment pass...

That's interesting. Thanks for this. HR mentioned nothing about scores when I enquired. But what you wrote makes sense. So could pass everything and still never get one of these positions....makes sense to continue to pursue other applications then

I wish I knew how people are getting courses. I was told it was from application date, assessment date and what depot you are going for. Seems some have passed very recently and placed on courses whilst others are waiting in a talent pool getting monthly updates.

Very surprised you've progressed this quickly. - when was your assessment day? Assuming Southern?
