I thought at least some of the 180s were going to be with TPE for Dec 9th when Virgin stop their MAN to Scotland services..and TPE take it over..? Thats what we've heard at work.
I've been reading a few posts and ive picked up that there is a 90 running around between BHM and MAN also to Euston......?
If so does anyone have the diagrams for this?
I know i should know with my job :D but sadly i dont! And im on holiday :D
Many Thanks if someone could help
They went downhill after they lost the 43s. Passenger numbers were rising and trains were getting smaller.....He never did anything, a woman did most of his work he was just there for the face!
I think Voaygers were a complete mistake :D Apart from driver comfort which i believe improved a...
Virgin XC would have done so much better without Chris Gibb....He was just a tiny bit useless and a complete waste of space.
Thats what i think :D :D
Has anyone met him by theway??
I agree FC in many Voyagers is empty however at peak times and busy services standard class ticket holders just go and sit where they please. There has been countless times trains have been delayed due to arguing about who should sit where. I think if FC is going to be on a train, keep it FC...
I've just been reading through these posts and many people seem to forget how busy the north east down to the south east gets. Everyone is going on about NE to SW but NE to SE can get just as busy.
Shame to see Virgin lose it!
Haha I have to say I dont think anyone is suprised by this! I dont understand why they announce their products so early! I mean they have said they're going to create the 'Midland Mainline' but i doubt that'll be out for a good few years!
Yeah so do i! Im in sunny Edinburgh, not too bad here. Just come up
from Oxford they're ok aswell aren't they?
Didn't that man who died in Hull get his foot stuck in a drain or something?
yes i agree! :D I was stranded in Plymouth for 2 days
so i dont think the south are too good either! ;)
This is the part of working on the railways i think
everyone hates lol.
Yes i don't think many will be surprised Pete :D they'll change it again in a few days, or maybe in a few hours.
Now that's something that wouldn't surprise me!
Can i just say at the start of this thread someone was asking
if there were any HSTs on the Bournemouth route, i gather you mean
through banbury oxford reading basingstoke winchester southampton
brockenhurst and bournemouth.
Unfortunately there isn't any scheduled HST sets for this route...
Oh well i'm only 28 Pete not oldies like you lot!!! lol :D
so I wouldn't know :)
Yes Tom they did a while back. I just thought as EB have created
all routes that are still in use, he may have meant Euston.
Even in the week when the VXC services get really busy people
just pile in Club Class anyway, so you don't get any refreshments
because the host cannot get through the carriage.
So it's hardly ever worth paying out for Club Class on VXC.
But definately is on VWC services.
