No sign of this mornings first southbound yet at Norton. I didn't know about yesterdays problems until late on so was waiting for 123 northbound last night and one of the new ones was leading. Has 123 made it to Heaton?

I don't know if this is good or bad news but 43468 is paired with 43480. It sat outside the back of my house tonight (Norton South) for those who know it. It left at 21 20 heading north so im presuming it was the 16 50 of the Cross about 2 and a 1/2 hours late.

I'm just wondering with the talk about electrifying the MML and lenghtening the 220/1/2s surely it would be possible to cascade some HSTs,therefore is it a good time to convert one to 25kv as a testbed. I realise it wouldn't be cheap and the PCs look short but they would only need 3000hp...
Are the rumours true that 65 and67 have gone to Brush? I am surprised as these 2 have been regulars lately whereas 123 and 84 have put in guest appearances and i presumed were the least reliable pair which now seeems true about 123.

They are indeed running with one of each starting today. As i posted on the GC discussion pages 084 is on the rear of this mornings first southbound.

HI all my first post and its bad news im afraid.Unless 43123 has had a stripe applied overnight which i doubt then 084 is on the rear of this mornings early southbound with what looked like a re-engined PC on the front and re furbed coaches going thru Stockton about 7 30. I missed the front PC...
