Can be done here too.. :D
On the touch-screen, simply go through until it prompts you to pay by card, then cancel, then abort transaction then it will come up asking if you want to pay at till. The order automatically comes through to the till and kitchen!
Agreed, as black/hard plastic is a thermosetting plastic it indeed means that it is basically impossible to recycle so I guess it does make sense in that respect.
One council in Manchester (Eccles way) didn’t like even clear plastic meat trays though I think this possibly is from a rodent point...

Weekly:-
Paper, Glass and cardboard (including envelopes with the window) in a Green Box.
Plastic, tins and cans in a Grey box.
Food waste in a brown lockable caddy.
You may also put large pieces of flattened cardboard neatly next to the recycling boxes and they will be...
I did something very similar back in 2014!
On one of my bashing trips I found a random boundary zone ticket that had expired the previous day. At the time I collected masses of train tickets so I took it. After mistaking it for my paper travelcard (RIP), it actually worked the barriers at...
As a qualified maintenance engineer and building services engineering technician (though not practicing), my skillset does cover a somewhat broad spectrum!
I was a maintenance manager at a 69-bed nursing home complex for 6-months and did pretty much everything within my remit including...
Being a van driver myself, I’m sure there’s plenty I’ve done to look suspicious!
Delivering large flat empty cardboard boxes to all manner of locations such as high-streets, apartments, accommodations, hospitals and nursing homes.
Turning up at footballers/famous people’s houses in my Transit...
Throughout my school life, particularly infant and primary school, there was always somebody being sick! I remember once around reception a member of our class threw up in the classroom and the teacher placed a flat cardboard box until it could be cleaned up.
On another occasion my mate sat...
Never had a bad ferry crossing to be honest. Not that it would bother me; if anything it would add to the fun!
Something worth mentioning would be the ferry crossing I took from The Philippines mainland at Legazpi harbour to Batan Island. On a homemade boat with 2 lawnmower engines. Carried...
I passed my test in January 2017 having just turned 18.
My first car was a 1997 Kia Sportage which I’d actually owned since 2014 when me and a mate fixed it up. I used it for around a month until I decided that I can’t afford 12mpg . It remained in my garage for 2 years after that until I...
That’s a little before my time, though I would be inclined to say that they did. But not 100% sure.
Pacers certainly operated through to Hooton; there is a picture of one mounted on the wall outside the ticket office!
A 156 did make it to Hooton in 2013, as part of an excursion which started at Liverpool Lime Street and went via (IIRC) Warrington, Helsby and Ellesmere Port. On the way back it went via the Halton Curve.
Asda - Their locations often mean they attract the ‘lower-end’ of the town they are in, making an unpleasant shopping experience. In addition, their products are not as good as other supermarkets and are pricier.
Amazon - Same as everybody else.
Sports Direct/Mike Ashley - “
I started temporary work (I am self-employed full time, the nature of my business means lockdown has resulted in no work!) at a nursing home, as a precaution, I took a test to ensure that I was safe. I had no symptoms whatsoever, I was thinking soon as I get my negative result I’ll be good to...
Emirates cable car definitely. I personally wouldn’t bother with the emirates experience though, just a small but quite expensive museum. Could have changed last time I went there, though.
As Hadders said, the 15H would have also been on my list of recommendations but it’s sadly somewhat...
