Elon Musk - the world's "greatest" spiv?

Fair enough if you are invested. I don't use it so it means nothing to me. What annoys me however is this "right wing conspiracy echo chamber" line trotted out. Well I saw plenty of pages in the last three years that we the left wing equivalent. It's basically a sh!t hole all round outside of...

Elon Musk - the world's "greatest" spiv?

Indeed, things come and go. I'm just amazed there are so many people who seemed a little fixated by him and X. There are conspiracy theories but unfortunately the left have diluted the meaning and lines on this to the point it is often used to describe things one doesn't agree with.

    15 minute cities the future?

I believe the poster was being sarcastic about the "war on motorist" We all know you can only use statements like this when its about things such as "Climate Crisis" or "Emergency"

    15 minute cities the future?

Correct and a journey can be unneccessry one day but necessary on another occasion - see weather, health. When you see the list of things that is hoped to come out of it but the only one that ever materialises is the stick you wonder why people as suspect? Many conspiracy theories turn out to...

    15 minute cities the future?

Referring to things you don’t agree with as right wing conspiracy theories doesn’t help.

Elon Musk - the world's "greatest" spiv?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-67482231 Id be more concerned by outfits like Media Matters who pull the strings on smear campaigns and drive authoritarian left wing agendas.

London Overground services missing out stops to recover the service

If you don’t like other people experiences and opinions maybe a forum isn’t the right place for you?

London Overground services missing out stops to recover the service

Yep since Khan insisted on annoying Covid messages for six months after everyone else had stopped I started using my headphones for the entire journey on LO.

How could heritage railways encourage more visitors to arrive by public transport?

And I suppose the heritage railway sight will have directions each and every bodies starting point. Maybe we should ban all the steam and diesel engines at the heritage sites too or is this another example of where the line is drawn just to the exact point it’s wanted by the individuals involved?

How could heritage railways encourage more visitors to arrive by public transport?

With the thing called the internet if someone is thinking about using public transport they can easily look it up. If that’s in google or by navigating a heritage railway website I’m sure they can. This is a non event.

    Remaining Effects of Covid

Well I wouldn’t trust the “shorter”, he seems as susceptible to what he sees as vote chasing as all the others. The virtue signalling twitterati would have been too much for him not to change his find. The way he spoke to that pub owner dur8ng it all told me all I need to know about the man...

    Remaining Effects of Covid

Correct, the enquiry is not questioning the effectiveness of lockdowns. In fact what I’ve seen it is more likely to result in a report that says we should have done it earlier, harder and longer. A la Chairman Starmer.

Avanti West Coast to cut number of services in December

Yes I forgot I did that before. At £104 it’s just getting ridiculous, I don’t have the car on Saturday but at that price it annoys me enough just not go and I can stream the game instead
