Anyone heard anything about Reading lately? Been waiting since the 3rd Nov for some news and haven't had any replies when I've tried to contact recruitment :(

I'll leave it for another week. I know they are busy and I don't want to hassle them. Just wish I could get it out the way though.

Still waiting for a date for the MMI. Not heard anything since the completion of stage 1 email :cry: Good to hear you passed! I expect the DMI to be the hardest part though :p

I took the test around 12 months ago and got an A grade. It is very easy. Just listen for the correct sounds in the correct order.

So do we find out if we actually passed the stage 1 assessments before the MMI or just that we completed them and we will do the MMI regardless?

They said the talent pool is full and there would be a delay in processing any more applicants into reading. As Ewie said above, they gave use the option to change to Oxford or Paddington, however we could stay with reading if we wished.

Reading, but going to change to Oxford :p I think it went well. I'm confident for the paper tests, unsure about the computerised tests though :/

I've just received an email informing me I've completed the stage 1 assessments and to await an email for stage 2. Is this a standard email or does it mean I passed the assessments at stage 1? Excited anyway :D

There's 5 sheets and you get 2 minutes on each one.

Non stop! Came down with a cold this morning though so not happy about that! Hope I don't feel terrible during the assessment :p

First person shooters are good for this. You need to use both thumbs on the sticks to aim. If you want a good game too then I recommend battlefield 1

I believe the MMI questionaire is not marked and is just there for the interviewer to grill you on so either way should be fine as long as you are able to go into detail when asked about the examples you have given Anyone know if it is acceptable to split an answer into two parts? Eg rules and...

Yes missing them is an error. I don't know if marking incorrectly or missing one is worse, but I know for sure they are both bad so try not to do either :lol:

No one knows the exact pass mark, but you should aim for absolute minimum 8 lines and as close to 0 errors as possible. Speed and accuracy are equally important.
