the gwr assessment works slightly differently. so you can accept the train operator job or it was a first stage? is the tm position stage 1 or 2?

No I did contact them after a few months and was told there was no assessments planned. its just how it goes I suppose.

yes was a big gap I think they started the recruitment then put it on hold as more needy positions were sorted. I understand that was exceptional but I don't think a few weeks is unusual

I did stage 1 in October 18 did my stage 2 in july just so it can be short or long.

Every 4 weeks so different day each month

Thanks for that. It seems odd they don't get London allowance. Just £3 more for sunday. Sunday rate is time and a 1/4 so more than £3 extra Good luck on the assessments guys try and practise the answers in the list and search star based interview for tips on how to answer

It can take a while to progress. It took a few months between stage 1 and 2 for me

I was told 6 months ish. when you have done the course and do your fist solo run, that's when you pay goes up
