Haven’t some of the e200s from Manchester been sent up to Hull? I'm sure these were upgraded to Euro 6 to allow other buses to be cascaded from Hull/Scarborough.
The only time I was told to seat in an assigned seat was when traveling with McGill's despite the bus being mostly empty and alighting at the next stop.
Most other operators will allow you to sit in any unreserved seat
What you were meant to say that was #amazing idea haha
On a more serious note, unless the fares are considerably cheaper compared to Lothian or some deal if booked with Bright Bus Open Top buses for Traveling, I doubt how many passengers there is for the new service. When I was up in Edinburgh...
Interesting that they are bringing the Aircoach service to the UK. From the promos looks like minibuses £9 each isn’t too bad for an airport service. National Express currently have on the day singles for £9.40
Will be interesting to see if they try and expand the operation to other airports...
Has anyone got a latest list of vehicles new at Go North West for the Bee Network. I know some of the Swindon E200MMCs have arrived today in Manchester until December.
Are the morebus E200MMCs off the M1 & M2 still due?
It can take up to 28 days for a formal decision to a public enquiry answer if the Traffic Commissioner wishes to have more time to deliberate their decision.
Whatever the decision, their decision won’t affect the company. Even if the traffic commissioner decide to reduce the number of disks...
I’d still argue that it wasn’t a purchase of the company as it was the purchase of routes and assests.
A similar example to this would be when Arriva purchased the 9 group of services of KMP Llanberis alongside their fleet of Wright Eclipses. The company wasn’t sold until its acquisition by...
Both routes were serving different airports - 260 Stanstead, M5 Gatwick & Heathrow. There was always a staffing issue with the M5 as Adventure Travel were meant to be operating the service, with Stagecoach taking over the running last minute.
Although the route ran into Kent it would have been...
Stagecoach never acquired the operations, Rotala decided to close the business down following the loss of most tenders. With Stagecoach then taking over staff and acquired some of the fleet
They just deregistered the service for the end of the contract, a new registration will be made for the service as the service is fully funded by TFW instead of going through the councils
The X41 is operated on the Blackburn ops which are unaffected by the TFGM Bee Network takeover. Although we all know that Transdev want to kill the route off
Simon Dunn has previously commented that the Preston Bus Brand is economically viable to stand alone. I think we all agree with the near constant swapping of buses that it would make more sense to merge
Also don't forget Preston Depot are on £12.65 a hour, whilst Manchester is on £14.30
