Quick query folks:
I originally booked an Advance ticket from London to Blackburn changing at Leeds. This was to be a trip to visit a friend.
I've since been invited to a business meeting in Leeds the day before my original journey. It makes no sense to go back to London after the meeting...
I was on a Preston - Euston service a while back where some guy in my carriage (who was bound for either Wigan or Warrington) got on with an Advance ticket for another service. Whether this was through ignorance or in the hope he could wing it, I don't know... unfortunately for him he'd picked...
Yes, it surpised me as well, as I've always had to enter the code before. I've got another ticket to pick up now, so I'll try at a different station and see if it does the same thing.
I booked a ticket on the eastcoast website last week and collected the ticket from one of the machines at BAL - it printed it off for me without the need for entering my confirmation code.
We are aware of an issue with emails from the Forum to Microsoft-based email accounts (hotmail/outlook/live.com email addresses). This is being looked into currently, thanks for your patience meanwhile.
