Apparently the August one was the June vacancy re-advertised as they wanted more candidates. You never know what to believe though as if it’s true interviews were last week (I was told they are still sifting through applications this week)

I was saying this to someone else, that those who have done stage two with other tocs seem to be at disadvantage to those who haven’t done them. It seems the ones who hadn’t done stage two before are being pushed through quicker. Hopefully you get a date soon!

I had my DMI nearly two weeks ago and have yet to hear anything. However some people who did stage two just last week heard back within a day or so. So I’m not sure how they work things!

Unfortunately how it goes. You could both apply on the same day but end up doing the first stage of assessments a few days apart. That can end up being the difference. As you can see here some people who did stage one just a week earlier than others have ended up doing stage two a week later and...

I imagine it would be 9-5 as an hours lunch a day is 35 a week. Unless it’s half hour? Just wanted to get the jist of times. When do you go out with a driver is that usually after 12/13 weeks?

Do you know how training works as in is it five days a week 9-5?

Thanks. Very informative. So how would you end up in link one? Can you choose to stay in link two? And if you change is this based on your manager? And can this change. If so how often? Are you offered taxis if you work the fife circle?

Does anyone know what routes you would cover for being based at the depot in Perth? Just Glasgow, Dundee and Edinburgh? Or Aberdeen and Inverness too?

Concerns me also because a lot of people haven’t even done stage 2 yet and aren’t scheduled to until December (some) yet already people who had DMIs last week are being put in a pool

Can anyone tell me who drives the Royal Mail trains? Do they have their own drivers or is it contracted out to freight companies?

I was told yesterday they need people for Crewe now. Depots such as Garston are a pool. Although it may just be that the first course at Crewe is booked and your on the next one! Whenever that may be
