Back in the 90's, I bought some bus/transport VHS videos from a guy in Nottingham (Paul someone IIRC). Think PMP videos of the 90's and you'd be on the right lines.
He did loads and advertised in Buses. I bought a few Yorkshire and Lincolnshire videos.
Has anyone heard of him, know if he's...
This may have changed, but at one time the Megabus Barnsley to London link was to go on the X10 to Leeds (an hour in the wrong direction). I am sure this was after Stagecoach operated the X65 (subsequently X17) from Barnsley to Meadowhall.
Skegness is awful to get to from South Yorkshire, so I hope this service does well. Not checked recently, but £15 seems to be about region that coach ops charge.
A very quick look on the train fares shows a standard return (no discounts) for an adult to be over £40 and takes just under four...
Not found a timetable yet, but Hulleys summer service X98 and X99 from Yorkshire to Skegness (Saturday) and Scarborough (Sunday's) to start from first weekend in July.
An image has been posted on their FB page with details (not timetable). Fares £15 return (that includes a week return ticket...
Did you note an expiry on that? I have signed up myself and hope to use it, but it seems a little open, and I can imagine some areas of the north being like Showbus if this is valid for the day!
Ta - that wasn't obvious. And it seems it goes from the same place that Megabus went from before they moved to the bus station. Which begs the question, why don't these use the bus station (Cost?). It would be a better user experience and it's hardly like the bus station is at capacity.
Does anyone have a timetable for UK routes? Their web site is crap at things like this (most sites are). It wants you to tell it where you want to get on / off. Well, that's fine, but I don't know what my options are other than guessing so I'd like a guide first. Also, specifically where the...
I experienced a similar thing at Yorkshire Traction's Shafton depot .... though the more I think about it, I think it was his last outbound run, and if he did it in service, it saved him time later and he could knock off early
Whilst this (and LVF) are awesome sites, I would remind people to remember to use their eyes. Three times today I knew something was a few minutes away and the bus arrived whilst I was looking at my phone to see how far away it actually was. Anyway, thanks to the site, and some withdrawals, I...
I get the impression that they've been testing and Yorkshire will be fully live soon.
As I've said this site as saved me so much time and think we all should look here https://ko-fi.com/bustimes and give a little back. It can't be cheap to run, and the guy obviously puts loads of time into it ...
Hi forum,
Can anyone recommend a cloud backup service that's well priced and truly unlimited?
I have TB's of transport photos that I'd like to backup in the cloud but I don't know which company's I can trust and use.
I do have Amazon Prime but I get the feeling that's not my requirements...
Nothing wrong with the hobby - you/we are doing someone that is legal and hurts nobody. The people who annoy me are the ones who have a pop because they think its sad. "What are you doing with your life then mate?" Go forth back to your sad life and leave me to my life.
