Just being nosey,
I got a start date but for October and this was 2 months ago. Had already thought that perhaps I wouldn't actually start till next year due to back log etc.
What was the update??
Thanks
Got my start after approx a week. No contract or offer letter but start dates are a long way off in the year so don't expect to receive it yet! Congratulations on passing!
Hi all.
Has anybody heard anything RE contracts/official offers yet? Been 7 weeks since I was given a start date and still nothing.
I know we have this event coming up but I cannot attend as unable
To get AL. I emailed asking if email will be sent with any information that may come from...
Not sure at what point you really classified as qualified. Again I would assume that once you are out driving your train on your own you are qualified?!?!
From what I remember the 37K is after the first exam and as stated the pay increase is after successful completion of that exam. Not sure how long till you are driver pay. Would assume once training completed and on your own. So year?
I wouldn't expect a quick reply on your contract if I was you. Got my start date for 23rd October over 3 weeks ago and still nothing. Just a waiting game! Congratulation tho!
I emailed Rebecca today regarding that. Got my start date offer 3 weeks ago but no contract or official offer.
My start date is a long way off so I wouldn't expect it for months but just after some confirmation. I have always found Rebecca replies fast but I got a reply saying she is AL back...
Passed my medical approx 1 month ago. Was given October as start date, little confusion ensued about another matter. All resolved but yet to receive and official confirmation or contract or anything else. Long way off so not to worried but gone very quiet
When I was offered the job I did ask the accommodation question. The reply was there is accommodation if needed but they did say most people commute every day. Nothing mentioned about food etc
And then travel travel home. Another 45 mins either side. Long days. And on shift won't b 5 days solid and if is wont b 10-12 hour days every day. Will take the accommodation options me thinks
