    Harbourside in Bristol is a good destination in Bristol and certainly the Bay in Cardiff - although the gates would delay things.

    Back in 1981 I was on a northbound overnight service out of Kings Cross on a Class 46 - I woke up pulling out of stonenaven with a duff on the from that had replaced the peak at Doncaster ( not a happy bunny )

    Thanks - but it doesn't answer the question Hymecks were class 35 tractors 37s - why weren't tractors Class 36? And why weren't Hymecks 34s? When they got to type 4s no gaps were left

    Interesting point about the "electric lines" and "lets make use of them" - I presume they are owner by Network Rail - but in someway GWR pays for the juice and the upkeep? If say TfW started using them - it might cost more money that using diesel?

    Is the concourse "Railway Property"? A railway concourse may have retail outlets that are used by non-travelling people - I used to work next door to Cardiff Central and used the M&S on site virtually everyday - does that mean I was trespassing?
