Same as last year, finally got the next stage email in September. Hopefully those of us waiting will start training by this September.

Called them recently and the answer is basically not for externals. Mainly internals with maybe 2 externals on the course. Long wait expected, long enough for a 2nd second medical for one poster on here.

Checked my old emails and I applied last March, went into the pool and had the AC1 & AC2 in November. Might be quicker this time with less applications. Although I'm still waiting on a training start date !

They'll email an update every month for 6 months and if AC1 didn't go good for others you'll get an invite. Could be sooner depends on how many AC1s

I went into the holding pool last year, AC1/AC2 in November, job offer December, still waiting training dates. So fingers crossed for those waiting it's still possible just a long process

I know some that applied on Day 1 and have still not received a reply, maybe you scored 100% in the SJT Another medical ? ! Crazy system, get excited when you get the call saying you've got the job, but they don't say you'll probably not start for a long long time.

4th Dec too So maybe the Dec intake will all start in June/July

Last time out 2017 of which I was one, apparently over 15,000 applied, but that was open longer if I remember ! I was lucky enough to be successful, but 4 months since being offered the job still waiting for training dates :(
