Your longest journeys made within in the UK?

For me Plymouth - Glasgow Central. Unfortunately it was for a funeral but was the cheapest way to get there without driving at the time.

    LSGs Getting Out n About

Great read @47403 I don't get on here much these days, but I'm like you with my local now chucking out things I need. My newborn has put paid to pretty much anything at the moment though! I've not been on a train for over 6 weeks!

    ash39's Trip Reports & Photos

I like the format of your reports. As for the beer thing, I agree with you. Craft vs Cask is a very blurry line though as technically cask is still craft! But I know what you mean. Some stunning beers out there.

[Request] How do I go about visiting British Steel Redcar (Station)?

When I did the station a couple of years ago I saw no one. I left the station and walked up to the road where there was a big gate across the road (under the bridge). I had to climb up the underside of the bridge and round the fence (where it wasn't fenced to the top of the underside of the...

Morning all! Can anyone see if 43047, 43484 153319 and 158906 are out at all today please. Thanks. Edit: don’t need info for 43047 or 153319 now. Also I don’t think 43484 is out or 158906 anywhere near Nottingham.

    Noddy's Trip Reports

24th September The sleeper was three early into Plymouth, and then I set off for the mile and half walk home. I was home by 0600 and got myself a cup of tea and got some breakfast. A repack of my bag was then required for the next few days. More? Yep! When I found out that my wife only had the...
