Could anybody give me some up-to-date information on what the Driver Medical involves, please? Are there forms to obtain from GPs etc prior to the medical? Any help greatly appreciated! James.

Thanks, didn't realise that. Would a TOC like Northern ever accept National standard results if some elements were passed to an enhanced standard, or is that unheard of?

That's good news; hopefully only the ATAVT and the MMI (...Positive thinking...) for me then! I've noticed on the very back pages of the documents they sent out with the OPC invite, it says that in the computer tests (unlike in the written tests) you're marked down for any incorrect answers...

Yeah, I guess they've realised it can take a good 6 months from initial application to sitting the OPC. I just wish we weren't restricted to two tries. Pressure!

I had a second application in 2 months afterwards, I was just sure to mention (on the section where it asks if you've previously sat the OPC Assessments) when, and the date from which I could resit.

Thanks Dave, it's good advice. I'll do my best; it's a difficult test. I'd love to know how it's scored. Surely you can't score zero if you don't mark everything in an image.. There has to be some reward for marking -some- of the correct items?

Don't be too hard on yourself, mate! It's a difficult test. You fully know what to focus on now, and how to do better next time. Out of interest, did they give you any feedback after your ATAVT? Or was it simply that you had failed it? I'm wondering if I'll need to resit the other two...
