You will still get some food, just not the hot meal you would get if you left before 1900. Generally sandwiches, crisps etc although they sometimes have a cold pie or,pasta meal. Ask for a honeycomb chocolate, they are scummy. Enjoy your trip.

Hello All I will be taking this service (1st class) from Cardiff to Crewe next week. Looks great on the website, can anyone tell me what the train, food and service are like? I change at Crewe onto a soon to be defunct Virgin train so it will be interesting to see the contrast.

Is there any problem with bringing in a penalty fare scheme? If you have the right ticket there is no problem with any such scheme. Surely penalty fare schemes are a good thing as they protect revenue, investment and shareholder returns?
