    Trivia: Favourite Underground line

The problem with the circle is that it doesn't go anywhere that the other lines do - it just sits in zone 1 and 2, at least the H+C goes to Barking and the District and Met go further out and faster. The circle also has a reputation for delays and it certainly feels like you've stopped in the...

    Replacement of other tube stock

Is there any reason why the 1992 stock seems to have kept so poorly? I know they would have been much better if the windows weren't dark but the rest of the body also seems to look worn out, compared to older stock such as the 72 (The 73 looks equally tired as its last refresh was a lot longer...

    Spider repellant/poison

Those huge house spiders do wonders at keeping the worse things out, ever since we stopped removing our big house spiders we've not had a wasp in sight! Wasps are sooo much scarier in my opinion as they can fly fast and sting without hesitation.

Trivia: Last thing you ate on a train

The other week I had a cup of tea and a flapjack on the 19:00 From Paddington to Westbury. It was a fairly good cuppa, too. I have been put off slightly when people eat a KFC on a train, I am sure that is the most pungent of all foods to be eaten in a closed space?

    Replacement of other tube stock

Well, this just goes to show what the quality of these trains really are given trains 20 years older are planned to be replaced just 2 years before the 92ts... At this rate I reckon the 72ts will end up being the longest serving tube stock so far at a possible 55 years! The 92ts will end up...

    Trivia: Favourite Underground line

The Jubilee is my absolute favourite - Such a fast line especially on the JLE and north of Neasdon which produces a wonderful sound from the traction motors. Closely followed is the Bakerloo - a heritage line in rolling stock and in station style. So nice to see those old trains still running...

Driver's door open whilst train moving?

I always used to see the drivers of the older generation trains with their doors open on hot days - mainly the D and 73 stock trains. I don't see what's so wrong with that given the trains probably don't have air con like the S stock does, neither does it have opening windows like the 72/67 stock...
