Personally what I would like to see for the WCML is a 319. Could be a good addition which would also work on some Northern routes!

I find with SeatFrog it's definitely worth the money. Did the HST Plymouth - Glasgow run last year for an extra £20, got lucky with the catering so I had as many bacon rolls, sandwiches and cups of tea as I could eat! Far better value for money than what GWR provide at least...

Yes, that is the issue. I click via Hereford and it says no fares available. I can’t use any other retailer as RSTOnline is the only way I get my priv rates.

I am planning to travel to Manchester on Friday (19th) and come back on the Monday (22nd) from Westbury. I want to do this via TfW to use their LCHS however the RSTOnline website is no longer saying fares are available to Crewe via Hereford, which is how I split the tickets last time (February)...

My issue with the 80x seats are that they seem to be way too vertical, and with the rock solid seat back there is no way to get comfortable. I did a three hour round trip on one before a work shift once and I was unable to carry out my job properly as my back was in agony! I can sit in an IC70...

This might be wrong, but I heard they stopped running on the fasts because too many people were using the platforms to end their lives at Slough station. It is a big help though IMO for pathing- I often found the fasts from the B&H when running late would get stuck behind a Slough stopper and...

I've been having trouble on the MML route on TSW4, I can't for the life of me get the 158 to move in the training centre no matter what I do. Anybody else have this issue?

As I understand, the ECML is going to move to in-cab signalling in the not too distant future. For me this begs the question- what will the effect be on railtours (and freight)? Will groups such as West Coast, Riviera Trains and all need to start installing the new equipment in cabs of old locos...

Personally even with the TfW base I still think having a seat which is so harshly upright isn't a good idea for a long distance service. I prefer something I can relax on and sink into a little.

It would be good just to change leasing so that we no longer have situations as we do right now with the 379s- perfectly good rolling stock with nobody to use them, all because the leasing costs are so high.

I was on the tour yesterday- it was very good and I certainly hope they keep running them now that they’ve started!
