Most drivers in Glasgow will show Stirling until they leave the bus station to save the confusion. Most people from Glasgow travel to Stirling and then from Stirling the main destinations are Grangemouth, Bo'ness, Edinburgh Airport and Edinburgh City Centre. Going in the other direction you can...
Is anyone aware how much the ScotRail Highland Explorer ticket costs? This is the newly released ticket from Glasgow - Oban to gain use of the Class 153. ScotRail released this ticket the other day as per their website but I can not find the ticket available to purchase. Does anyone have any...
Good ol' First Group with their hands on the franchise. Turning Virgins exceptional achievements into mush like the rest of their operations throughout the UK
Bus driving is ok in small doses. Generally can't stand ding ding work. I'm a much bigger fan of long distance intercity coach driving. Would highly recommend that. You are dealing with a better standard of passenger, far better vehicles, only a few stops per shifts and likely paid throughout...
They need to man up, accept they have it good and do what their job entails. They're only doing themselves out a job with everyone turning to other modes of transport
Graysons clearly aren't clued up on the heating system. The Panoramas only allow you to select the temperature for both decks. The Astromegas allow you to select the temperature on the bottom deck, top deck front and top deck rear. This makes so much sense because heat rises. The top deck is...
Constant issues since new. Mainly heating and coolant related along with turbos not working to full potential. The heating panels on the Megabus ones still freeze which prevents you from adjusting both the cab demisters and pax heating which requires a full 10 minute reset otherwise everyone...
The Panoramas are the same height as the Interdecks at 13 ft 1 and they are also shorter at 47.7 feet long. Going by the continual issues with the Panoramas I would be surprised if they keep investing money in them
They need to get a grip and just do their job. They haven't lost any pay or their jobs and they're still moaning. The sooner the railway becomes public the better
Our network truly is an embarrassment. Where is the motivation and urge to forge forward through adversity and get the passenger from A - B. The lack of trying is just turning people to other methods of transport. Astronomically high fares which provide no value for money in turn being brought...
To me the rail network is unreliable. TOCs willing to cancel trains for silly little reasons rather than showing they are trying and forging through adversity. For me the car wins hands down over the train and this compulsory reservation malarkey just adds to my views on the subject
