So you have an hour wait then 2 43 in 1 min of each other ? Some very strange timetabling decisions going on.

Most buses (even new ones) are sorn’d now so all we have left is red ones with a few green gas buses.

Yes I understand that but to have a 45 min gap between the 43 and 45 is silly. They should have been 30 mins apart to service church road.

Oh yeah never noticed the 44 was also off. So the 45/43 leave working 15 mins of each other from the centre then you have a 45 min wait. Who the hell makes these timetables...

So the new timetables are out for the week starting the 5th of April and on a Saturday and Sunday the 42 is cut completely means only one bus an hour to kingswood. So by the looks of it you’ll have a 43 and a 44 leaving 15 mins apart then a 30 min gap till the next bus up church road ! All...

Lucky enough first west of England has signed off everyone with a medical condition for 12 weeks starting today, so fingers crossed we won’t hear of any more..

Lawrence Hill sadly lost one of its drivers to covid 19 yesterday, stay safe everyone and stay at home !

I’d say shortage of drivers will be a big factor. We have lost hundreds in Bristol already with many being furloughed next week.

Emergency timetable out now, basically a Sunday timetable but some reduced further such as the 42 which goes to hourly ! https://www.firstgroup.com/bristol-bath-and-west/news-and-service-updates/coronavirus-covid19-service-information

It’s not just a Sunday timetable with early and late buses added by the looks of it. edit: what I meant by this is the buses are running at different times to a normal Sunday, I’d assume the full timetable will be out tomorrow?!?
  17. B

First West of England (Bristol, Bath & The West)

Sunday service starts from this Saturday not Sunday as planned.
  18. B

First West of England (Bristol, Bath & The West)

Yep I fully expect the buses to stop soon and most of us to be put in this 80% pay thing.

First Bristol/bath lost £1 million last week and Saturday passenger numbers where only 28% of what they normally are.

I highly doubt this. Some buses will be off tho because of illness (covid or not) but this will become a normal occurrence from here on. Edit: saw in the depot that because of this change to Saturday service tracking won’t happen on the whole.
