Currently 4 (701,711,713 & 722) running around refurbished. I beileve the 5th is away at the moment although I don't know for certain what number it is.

Good news that they're getting plug sockets! Much needed on the runs up to Aberdeen etc where peoples' Mothers can easily drain about half their phone battery during the journey up... :lol:

Tell me about it! 8 of my last 9 SR 158s are based in Inverness. Two of them haven't even been sighted yet. The 170s, I find, are equally as difficult to track down.

I think there was a slight c*ck up when it went in for refurb and the wrong seat covers were installed. Certainly, when I had it back in October, it had been fixed to the standard Scotrail moquette. It will now, however, sport the Saltire interior scheme.

Cheers for the update. Sort of confirms they're being done in roughly the same order as the Inverness refurb back in 2007/08.
