Well, as I used to live in South Wales and now with the proposed electrification, maybe some modern EMUs, eg: 334s on the Valleys. Or even 158/175s running the HOWL services? Here in sunny Finland, I'd like to see the Porvoo-Kerava line reopened to passengers o anything would do there :-) Ian

For some of the reasons stated, yes, but often the move to rail for many to due to circumstance, for example, commuting into London. Now, if we were truly experiencing a rail renaissance then we'd see more line reopenings, for example: Lewes-Uckfield, Carmarthen-Aberystwyth etc and more...

There was quite a study of the language at the end of the 19th century so some details of the phonology are preserved, plus there is the fact that Cornish is similar to Welsh and Breton so even if some subtleties are lost a new standard phonology can be recreated. Anyway, language phonologies...
