Of course! feel a lot better on the road from a passengers point of view, picked up speed very well, leg room much better than a MAN as well!
Couldn't have gone to Lancaster without getting a couple of cheeky shots of MX05OSZ too ;-)
As I sit on my one hour late running National Express Scania Irizar I have to agree, it was a cracking day! Some great buses in and around the depot, would have been nice to see a contribution from Lillyhall, but hey we can't have everthing!
Was nice seeing the guys down in Morecambe and...
Long queue of people waiting for the 1534 departure as we saw, which had to be 34218, amount of people normally nearly fills a MAN on a normal day!
Ironic really with it being kept to the 31A recently! ...35248 was on the 31A today with 20923.
As I left for home, cainebj tells me that 35247 has...
Due to the closure of Newlands Lane South / Ashfield Road South in Workington for approx 1 week from 31st May, 50 and 51 cannot serve the bus stops along this stretch of the route:
Buses will depart from Newlands Lane, Newlands Gardens, Scawfell Avenue and Lorton Avenue.
Although knackered things, it would be nice to see some move north - Lillyhall or Carlisle. Would have been decent enough for the new X5's, but I have a hunch Carlisle over Lillyhall for some reason if they were to be heading north, time will tell of course!
I'd rather see pointless posts which can simply be ignored than endless pages of ranting! As I and people have said, If you want to rant, PM each other!.... PLEEEEASE!!
Errr, what's pointless?
47061 does, just doesn't work.... being a rear display there's no great rush to fix it. 47753's has the one dot thing so it does work, just not programmed on the correct channel.
The wonderful 20436 came in on the 1750 31 today also, whether or not it started on it today is another thing!
The 31A hardly ever gets busy, increase in passengers during school times, so it would be good to see it on there more being spare. Having an out of Workington hasn't happened in a...

Citi Darts - Will have to start calling them 'Hearty Darts'..... or 'Lovely Darts'
We can't argue we don't see a bit of everything, no two days are simular haha
The 'crapness' adds to the interestingness!
Hopefully 34218 was being fixed of its unique engine 'groan'.... I take it 17017 was also unaccounted for today too!
I wonder when 47753 will decide to make an appearance...
Exactly, which is why I question 07Andrews point of it being moved to Carlisle for repairs, when it got towed back to Lillyhall - when they can blatantly repair it there
Indeedy it was, parked in the Metrocentre coach park looking sorry for itself next to newer examples
Gone up to Carlisle??? I know it broke down, but reallyy?
47006 is alive once again, out on the Mirehouse Circular.
16447 was pulled off the short 302 at Lillyhall and passengers transferred to the freshly washed interior of 47062. 16447 was rather hot and a little fumey.
Carlisle and Lillyhall couldn't have done much more. Scania's being on the 300, which many people would have been using anyway. MAN's not big enough or ideal. Deckers were ideally needed, which wasn't possible from our depots point of view. Nevertheless, Stagecoach did a good job supporting the...
