Ideally my employer will hire a van with cruise control if the cost isn't too significant however the likes of Enterprise and Europcar don't display info on if their vans have cruise control. Northgate does seem to however.
Does anyone on here suffer from this and if so can you share any tips on how to manage the pain when driving?
I tend to get this after 1-2 hours of continuous driving. I'm in Newcastle and got a drive to Leeds tomorrow and a drive to Bournemouth in two weeks. Just wondering what I can do to...
I had no issues with both flights. Got a window seat when checking in. An experience flying on the Q400's to say the least. Very choppy around Southampton both arriving and departing on the return flight.
Weird seeing the landing gear deploy and retract as well.
Whilst I agree with the anomaly about trains terminating at South Gosforth but displaying Airport its a bit over-dramatic slagging off a city as a result.
A bit of planning by visiting http://www.nexus.org.uk/metro/updates?open=t_planned-works you would have found the replacement bus stop...
Hi,
Does anyone know how busy the above flight is likely to be? I am booked on the 08:45 flight on 23/03 for a work trip and the just fly option has been chosen which means my seat is allocated when I check in unless I pay the additional £7.50 each way to choose my seat. I would prefer a...
Posting here as I feel that technically a motorway being a public highway is public transport however mods please move if you deem this no appropriate in this section.
Local people may have noticed this themselves but I regularly commute by car from Gateshead to Wallsend and part of my...
Apologies if this is in the wrong section.
I'm travelling to Bournemouth from Newcastle (work trip fuel expenses claimable) and I'm trying to decide between the M1/M25/M3/M27 combo or the A43/M40/A34. The former option is whilst slightly longer it means it's motorway most of the way until...
In theory could they not use the overrun tunnel at St James? Train infront detrains at platform 2 then shunts into the overrun. The train behind then arrives on platform 2 and detrains, drivers swap over and train behind becomes the train infront. Means both can then terminate at St James.
Hi,
As the title says can someone tell me who makes the decision when to close a road where it crosses a railway line so that the bridge over it can be repaired or replaced?
For example close to where I live a key route in Gateshead that goes from Low Fell and the surrounding area to the...
Hi
Apologises for what may be a stupid question but does the below mean I can travel on any service on the dates showing? I'm on a works night out on Friday so if there's flexibility I may take a later train. I know I will lose my seat reservation if I do this though.
With regards to...
