TBH my earnings are not as bad in my current job.
Why I want to work for railway? Respext d job, good money, most of all you won’t get laid as quickly as others, good pension and holiday something I don’t get in my current role being self employed.

I’ve applied for 9th grade signaller at three bridges. Passed benchmark waiting to see if I’ll get an interview. Basic pay is about 48k. How much can i realistically earn with overtime?
The only trouble is three bridges is about 1 and half hours away so definitely considering my options.
Like coopes I applied twice but got a rejection email for both. Out of curiosity,, those that got an invite for interview how many did you get to in error copy test?
A contract made and accepted verbally and then later withdrawn requires the employer to give or pay 7 or 30 days notice period depending on the contract terms. Unfair dismissal only applies after 2 years in service.
