I'm awaiting my medical and confirmation of start date but that would be my intention in the new year, yes.
Received written contract etc on Saturday morning.
I assume you mean the training contract tie-in? This was discussed in my interview, although it may have been because I asked more about their contract situation due to the rumours at the start of this thread of it being a zero hours position.
Just to add to this, I had my assessments in September so have been awaiting a DM interview since.
I was told (admittedly over the phone by one of the staff filling in the HR role that was vacated recently) that DM interviews may be held in January for previous applicants with the intake for...
They have a couple more interviews to do today before deciding the final intake.
Looking at Wednesday or Thursday (at the latest) for notifications. Good luck.
Their website is terrible, even before the latest vacancies popped up. Form submissions and navigation is awful and got even worse after the last vacancies were mentioned on here!

Thanks. I don't expect to hear anything then.
I was told on the day that i passed the MT4.1 so would be awaiting a letter confirming DM interview. Having said that, they're expecting people to start in December so I would think they need to get a shift on
Do you mean structured interviews? I only did the mechanical test in swindon as passed everything else with another TOC. Or did you do the first interviews on the day?
I didn't confirm as i was only there for an assessment and didn't want to press too hard until interview stage.
Their contracted drivers are on around £42k i think, so i would hazard a guess that after 12 months/driving hours complete or whatever, you'd go up to that, which is similar in...
I spoke to one of the Colas managers yesterday (can't remember his name unfortunately) and he said the following:
Training salary £20k
After 12 weeks £34k
Looking at taking 60 drivers with the majority being already qualified.
I was only there to do the Mechanical test as did the rest...
