I was at the assessment day yesterday in Stratford, I was there to do the DFFT only, as I had already passed the others with SWR 6 weeks ago.
Thankfully I passed. I was asked to arrive at 12:00 as I didn’t need to be there all day, and was told that nine people were supposed to show up to...
Got an email yesterday inviting me for an assessment day on the 31st at their office in Stratford.
They don’t have a phone number on their website as such but they do have a “live chat” feature which I used to speak to them once a week.
I have just spoken to GA regarding the role at Bishops Stortford and have been told there are no positions currently available. I’m assuming all chosen candidates have been picked and notified?
Quick question regarding the MMI:
Could someone with experience put the below areas in order of importance in the eyes of the interviewer.
1 - health and safety
2 - adherence to policy
3 - customer service
4 - communication
Passed my assessments with SWR last week so hopefully will have a...
Update: Just passed the assessment day a few hours ago. Hopefully should get an email with the next step. I applied for Waterloo.
There were 9 of us, I think 4 passed.
Any one have any advice or knowledge on the interview for the Waterloo depo?
Thanks
Just a note, I would not be too discouraged by the requirement of living within a certain range of said position. I have just been accepted for an assessment day after completing the online assessment, and the depot is 70-80 mins away from my address, when it was quoted I must live within 45-60...
That’s correct, I applied on the 25/3/19, I was expecting it to be quicker but then again I don’t know how many applicants they have, nor do I have any experience of the internal processes at FirstGroup. I am just elated to have made it to the next stage.
I had a email come through this...
Update: Just had an invite for the assement day on the 16/4/19 regarding the Waterloo position.
Does anyone have any tips/advice on how to prepare for this day? Apart from reviewing past posts which I have already done and will continue to do.
Thanks.
I have not heard anything from FirstGroup regarding the Waterloo position since 25/3. No emails, calls or information on my account profile on their website. I shall be giving them a call on Monday. I have heard that the whole process can take a very long time.
3 years of waiting to begin training? That’s crazy!!! Is this a one off or a typical occurrence?
Why once accepted would they keep you waiting for such a long period of time?
Apologies if this is the norm but I’m new here.
The assessments can be completed up to 48 hours after your initial application according to the website. Did you apply before today and not complete the assessment? I have just checked the FG website and the openings are gone.
I have applied myself but have not had any response as of yet...
