I sympathise with you being concerned about future visa applications, ILRs, etc. I've been in your shoes.
I'm not giving legal advice, but its important to note that the National Rail website states a penalty fare is *not* a fine - it is purely an exceptional fare charged when a valid ticket...
Thanks for the data point.
Was that at the normal French passport control? Or were the new kiosks open and working (I'd heard they might be made available to Business Premier class first)?
What was the queuing time like? Off-peak time, midweek in February is probably the quietest time...
Thank you. I did read the page, hence my question. It refers to LNR as the only affected TOC (not Avanti). I don't know the area well, so I don't know if the problems are only on the slow lines (if they exist?!) which is why only LNR is listed as affected. Or if this is a general issue affecting...
The last Avanti train to leave Birmingham New Street southbound was at 16:30 (an hour ago).
Is the disruption at Coventry (https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/service-disruptions/coventry-20251121/) causing additional problems at Birmingham or is this all to do with the problem at Stafford causing a...

Or does it mean there needs to be a general recast in service patterns (e.g. remove the skip-stopping and have every passenger service...
The "GWR/Crossrail part" of the station will use the same concourse and exit road as the "HS2 part".
I imagine it might add complexity (and cost?) if access to/through the concourse and exit road were provided for GWR/Crossrail passengers before the "HS2 part" construction is completed? Or has...
That's right! This is Le Regino (or Reginu, in Corsican). My photo is from the end of August - a lovely part of the world. This line goes on a very scenic route through the mountains and is still time competitive with road vehicles (mainly because the roads in Corsica are pretty tortuous!)...
The Harlington validators were changed earlier this summer. I took this photo when I noticed the new validators on 27th July (my previous visit to Harlington was in early June, so I think the new validators were changed sometime in that range).
I was further up the line at Gyékényes the two summers ago, but Barcs looks like a pleasant station too.
Next up is a locality I don't think we've had before... This station currently sees two trains a day in each direction, seven days a week.
We are aware of an issue with emails from the Forum to Microsoft-based email accounts (hotmail/outlook/live.com email addresses). This is being looked into currently, thanks for your patience meanwhile.
