The SIM test is where you use a computer simulator of a short tram drive..they explain what you need to do and how to do it

All those were on the same day
I came back for the Interview & Medical
You can either tag on or work your rest days..I should imagine that reaching 28k with overtime is achievable provided you hammer it

I think they get paid more as they use heavy rail tracks..Someone explained it to me a few months...
Shifts can be anywhere between around 4:45am to 2ish in the morning
It's a 37 hour week..longest shift is 9.5 hours but it balances out with shorter shifts
How many lates you do depends on your roster
As a new starter you tend to get the leftover rosters so they won't be great

I arrived for my duty as a driver at 3pm and was told to sit in the canteen
7 hours later I was sent home..3 hours before I was supposed to finish
No radios..signals or points were working at one point..all the units were called back to depot..we got a note saying specialists from Birmingham...

The dials test
A test involving recognising shapes and crossing them off as you go along lines of different shapes (speed test)
A written exercise describing your journey into the assessment in no more than 50 words
The tram simulator...

I applied in April 2016 and only went for the assessment last week
Had the interview/medical today and was offered the job!
Start my training beginning of January :)
