Not as bad as that, but the 1810 from Euston to Wrexham/Holyhead yesterday was cancelled when it arrived into Milton Keynes Central 164 minutes late.

They *haven't* been though. That's the point. They now *are* doing again. But only since Monday.

Sorry, I meant they started to run *daily* services again as of last Sunday. I guess technically they started yesterday, if the Sunday service never stopped!

Hi Is there a sim out there which, rather than simulating driving trains, allows you to design a railway, add stations and timetables, then it simulates the services running? I guess like the pro tools that are used by real-world planners but on a more basic level for geeks to play around with?

The Chord is just one part of the required infrastructure, surely? The Castlefield corridor needs widening, Salford Central needs redeveloping, platforms 15 and 16 at Piccadilly need building. The consultation makes clear that this is to try to get the best service in the short to medium term...
