    It is not a moan, it’s the statistics of the realities. For those who travel often but not more than 2,3 times a week it seems a lot more frequent and some luckier than others on short formation. But it has dramatically calmed do and will now as 800001 and 800002 are accepted into passenger use...

    All they need is padding but even then I don’t mind them. We don’t need higher seats that feel squashed. How is the IET depressing? The nice lighting, leg room and options to comfort greatly improves the welcoming feel of the train.

    As it’s a Saturday it’s hard to find out. If you want to ride a HST that day then tweet GWR at around 7 in the morning and they can give you the allocations. Otherwise, go onto the TOPS thread as some people there might know.
