Hi cymrulass
It's my first application also. I received the link to the mini SCAAT straight away but as I was nights I didn't end up completing it until the weekend, I falsely presumed that once completed the general ability test would follow.
For whatever reason the test never showed up, but...
I’ve checked and unfortunately not there either. Appears it just hasn’t been sent to me.
It’s weird because I had the mini SCAAT straight away.
I’ve tried phoning the company but they’re not there on weekends
Yeah I'll probably leave it a few hours and if I don't hear anything I'll ring up.
I think it went well, I tried to be quick but my main focus was on accuracy so we'll wait and see.
Yeah Cardiff valley lines, out of interest do you know where the actual depot is?
I've just completed the mini SCAAT test
I've yet to receive the general ability test yest though, do you know if it gets sent after you do the first test?
Hi all
Happy new year to you.
Just received an email to complete the online assessments
Says I’ll need flash player, does any one know if they work on Ipads?
Cheers
Shame, but as you say still decent pay and perks.
Most of the travel perks from nwr are long gone so it can’t be any worse.
I got my application in for Cardiff just in time,
Not expecting too much but I’ll try my best.
I’ll let you know how it goes
Take care mate
Shame about the travel package, will you definitely be losing it or is it a up in the air?..
I currently work in signalling and telecoms at st.pancras so quite a bit different to conductor
I’m from wales so trying to get back and this seems like a great opportunity to do so. I imagine there’ll...
Right so won’t be an issue then
I only ask as I currently work for NWR but I’ve applied for conductor in Cardiff. So want to be safe.
Good luck with your application mate
Hi Spikeylado,
Is it true that ATW ae pulling out of wales from next year?
And if so what would happen to whoever gets one of these roles?
Kind regards
Lscymru
If you're in the Park inn then it's a really nice hotel. But they could put you anywhere to be honest.
You have a £30 a day allowance to be spent on food/drink in the hotel, which is usually more than enough.
You also get free breakfast in the hotel and lunch provided in the training...
Yes I think the new application just followed on from the old one, then the old one terminated.
I think the offer came after about 2 weeks if I remember correctly. But my start date took a couple of months (that might just be me though)
No worries!
First time posting here so might mess this up...
Same thing happened to me with my job 2 years ago (operative signalling maintenance) and I was successful.
Just moved everything onto a new application.
So may be a good omen?
Good luck either way.
