After working 2S18, 0802 Weybridge to Waterloo rather than going to depot the 701 works 2S23, 0952 Waterloo to Weybridge, and sticks on that diagram for the rest of the day, which after the Weybridge is 3 round trips to Reading before the 2352 to Hounslow.
458/4 diagrams are down to 7 pairs as...
Remains at 45 diagrams this week. AFAIK it should remain at roughly one new diagram every week until 50 diagrams are reached, but that doesn't necessarily mean a new one each week. I think some diagrams go in as pairs after a week's break.
Booking via phone for SNCF is much easier. The number is on the RSTL website. Booking at a ticket office seems to produce mixed results if using a coupon. It's not an issue getting the FIP discounted fare but getting just the reservation fee seems to be much more difficult.
Appeared to be the same as before on Wednesday, just without the stamping. The EES kiosks before going through security are all switched off still. I used an E Gate and was pretty much straight through. I assume if you use a manned booth you will have fingerprints and photo done.
Another main suburban diagram is introduced. The effective additional diagram starts and ends at Guildford, although it swaps at Waterloo after the first train with a current diagram to cycle units around.
There's another 701 diagram starting next week, although not one from the LTPs.
It's a main suburban diagram starting and ending at Guildford Up Carriage Sidings.
I believe this is the main issue. They can go a while without the tanks being emptied, but not so long without the water being topped up. And of course the 455s they largely replaced did not require that, so there's plenty of stabling locations without the ability to top up the fresh water.
There is a new diagram next week. It's a bit confusing though as part of the diagram has been 701 this week, with part of what was previously a 701 diagram being a 450 this week instead. Both diagrams are 701 from next week. It's a main Suburban diagram.
Well, it's actually an STP fudge to another issue. The unit off 1N95 should go empty to Farnham Depot from Aldershot, with the unit off 2D51 going empty to Clapham Yard. They should swap back round in May when the issue is resolved.
Next week's new 701 diagram:
2C12 0609 Reading to London Waterloo
2S15 0752 London Waterloo to Weybridge
2S24 0933 Weybridge to London Waterloo
2C29 1120 London Waterloo to Reading
2C40 1309 Reading to London Waterloo
2C43 1450 London Waterloo to Reading
2C54 1639 Reading to London...
I understand that some of those were ahead of schedule too which explains the current gap. There have been no issues covering diagrams recently either.
Likely a fault that required the train to be taken out of service, but was then able subsequently to be rectified by fitters at Waterloo. Generally on SWR the priority is clearing the line, which may mean isolating safety systems requiring the train to come out of service, then moving it...
We are aware of an issue with emails from the Forum to Microsoft-based email accounts (hotmail/outlook/live.com email addresses). This is being looked into currently, thanks for your patience meanwhile.
