The accessible toilet at the 1st class end was oou leaving Sheffield on 810010 with the 1400 to St.P yesterday afternoon and the fitters (plumbers) were still trying to fix when it got to Derby
Read into this how you see it but tomorrow's (3/12/2025) 0700 Sheffield to St Pancras on RTT shows up dmu but changes en-route. Possibly a 810 working. Other 222 workings just show as diesel multiple unit throughout.
There is quite a number of daily commuters from long eaton to leicester and london. If you want to take out stops then why not east midlands pw, loughborough etc and have all the main line run Sheffield, Derby or Nottingham and Leicester only to St P and just stick 2 fingers up to passengers...
Looking at the timetable for the diesel gala this weekend, I noticed that there are the usual list of rakes A, B, C. A & B tend to be longer sets with shorter set C. What is rake E?
