Moving around the cab on a laptop

Well assuming your laptop doesn't have the number pad printed onto the right side of the keyboard (on mine 4 is u, 5 is i, 6 is o etc), you will have to buy a separate number pad that plugs into the usb port.

    Help! Awfully bad framerate

I got myself a very snazzy vaio laptop.... Pentium M 1.86GHz, 1024mb memory, 256 Radeon Mobility X600 graphics card. Oh and a huuuge 17'' X-black widescreen, perfect for bve! And yeh our other pc is the same spec as yours, i'm lucky to get over 10fps on that and totally pointless to try to...

If that's the case then isn't the wiper the wrong way up? It's only that way up on the new smaller cabs..... or am I mistaken?

    paris metro

The reason that there's no mention on Damon's site is that his list covers only UK routes, and seeing as Paris is in France......

    Graphics Card

You need to consider the processor too. If it's a Celeron or equivalent, you can forget about any kind of improvement im afraid. Unless it's a Pentium or equivalent, you won't get anything above 15-20 fps....

    Problem with sounds

Thanks for all your help guys but by fiddling around myself I've managed to fix it. Turns out BVE doesn't like hardware acceleration on the sound card, so I just turned that off and now it works like a treat!! Finally, decent framerates!!

    Problem with sounds

Hi, Having got my new laptop yesterday I have now discovered that most of the AWS bell/buzzer sounds on most of the trains from train sim central do not work. I.E. I run over the AWS magnet and nothing happens.... Also I have noticed that some of the start up sounds do not work either. I am...

    HST BVE4 & Richwel;l Updates

There is a problem with the HST download file. When extracting the .exe file, a message comes up saying "some files are corrupted, please download again". All the files extract except for Run1.wav, where it says "CRC failed in Train/HST/Run1.wav".....

Nice Update! Unfortunatly I still get the blue screen unless I use the panel2-8bit.cfg file. Also it appears the speedometer is a little off, on the 75mph section, I got a speed limit excceded warning wen the speedo was at 70mph!
