Simplicity or Simpli or the recent pulse branding at First Leeds - which looks and sounds like it only serves the hospital - its poor branding. At least Cambridge Citi sounds like a brand, is designed well and looks like a coherent brand.

The Corby service is a joke with most commuters driving to Kettering. Luton, Bedford, Wellingboroug and Kettering passengers lost an half hourly north bound service due to this.

Certainly commuters at Wellingborough and Kettering don't want a TL service. If a half hourly EMT EMU service ran to Corby an additional pathway would have to be found. Leicester, Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield get a pretty good fast service with Leicester getting two trains an hour non stop...

I think out of all designers, Ray Stenning being an enthusiast and understanding the different body designs on both trains and buses, made sure the livery was adapted correctly for the HST and not a'botched' 91 job. The East Coast livery always looked to me as an undercoat with a 'rail barbie'...

I would say that First's new corporate interiors are not to the same higher standard of Stagecoach Gold. Mainly due to the garish use of pink for the handrails and whilst Stagecoach use proper coach high backed seats (without the trimmings) First use a basic Civic seat with a head rest. The Best...

It was designed by http://www.best-impressions.co.uk who have designed most stagecoach liveries. The designer Ray Stenning always seems to understand the lines of vehicles and I think this works.
