I was interviewed by the Bedford Depot Manager and he told me that they do get free parking at Bedford (although they did say they didn't know how long that would last as costs company quite a bit of money) and also that free travel is part of the package.

Driver must of been embellishing the facts on the money then!!! I live a 12 min (to be exact!) cycle ride from Bedford Station. Its about 2 miles. I wouldn't go for anywhere else due to that. The short commute for a few years is a massive draw!!!!

Hi, Obviously been very quiet on this thread. Has anyone heard anything?? Ive tried to contact HR but they have just said we will email when we can progress you. I heard from a current driver that there was a course starting in Sept but for internal applicants only.

I passed medical early May and still waiting for a start date. Although my only choice is Bedford so that might be why it's taking so long

I believe that although South Eastern is also Govia they pay differently.
